Fifteen year old Zed is a dissatisfied and unfocused boy living in Calm. He finally gets his chance at a new life when a mysterious gust of wind guides him to a small space/time crevasse. It leads him to Tempura, a land full of magic, crystals with strange powers called shards, and monsters called spirits.
